A Night Among the Stars – Hall of Fame 2016

Our vision at The Bridge at Highland is to radically change the landscape of Healthcare, forever. To us, this means being much more than a provider of medical and health services. We are elder focused and community focused, and believe the greatest generation residing in our care deserve more than our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services – but recognition for lifetime achievements!

The Hall Of Fame Café seeks to honor elders for lifetime achievement, military service, community leadership, community volunteering, and career achievements just to name a few! Since its inception, the Hall Of Fame Café now includes one community member and one Signature Healthcare stakeholder.

This year at The Bridge at Highland we inducted David Hong, Leila Busch, Joost Koenig, Michael McClellan (community member), and Kimberly White (stakeholder).

Their Hall Of Fame biographies are posted on our Hall Of Fame wall for one whole year for all of the community to see. Their stories include a Korean native whose life work spans across the globe; an orphan teenager from Switzerland who is fluent in five languages, a 22 year stakeholder who has worked in many capacities at The Bridge at Highland; a teacher-turned-practitioner investing his time in geriatric care; and a faithful, loyal member of the Highland Adventist Church who was known for her breathtaking cooking and baking skills!

Please take time to read more about their lifetime achievements located inside The Bridge at Highland on Hall Of Fame Hall.

*A Special ‘Thank You’ to the Bells Of Praise at Highland Academy for their musical contribution, SHC Production, Anna Bass, Portland Chamber of Commerce, and the Highland Dietary Department!
